Walkthrough[]
Ascension Rites[]
"Congratulations, and welcome to the Ascension Rites semi-finals. The winner of this match will go to the finals. It's between you and Selket's boy-toy, Apophis. Make him pay."
– Mission description
- Robot commentator: "What an incredible match. Fine performances by all, but three competitors will go home empty-handed. Malcolm, are you surprised to see Anubis in the semi-finals?"
- Malcolm: "Nah! He has fighting in his blood - from his grandmother, the late Empress Seshafi."
- Robot commentator: "But he turned his back on his family's tradition, not to mention his arranged marriage with Selket, eight years ago."
- Malcolm: "Skipping the Tourney was one thing, but pissing off a chick like Selket was suicidal. I bet she's dying to meet him in the arena."
- Robot commentator: "Well, that would be exciting, but all the semi-final matchups are completely random."
- Malcolm: "Yeah, random."
The map is played in a special version of DM-Praxis. In this match Apophis seems pretty pissed because he will utter things like "SHE LOVES ME!", and some random curses, but this bot isn't too hard to destroy. Just stay in the main room (where the super health is), and use all the explosive ammo at the back of the room, you only need 10 kills so it isn't that hard, just try to stay a fair distance from him and his melee.[1]

"As the top ranked competitor after the qualifying rounds, you earned a bye and skipped the quarter-finals, where Apophis, Anubis, and Mirage qualified. After you handily beat Mirage in this match, Anubis and Apophis will fight, just as you planned from the beginning. Apophis will destroy the cowardly dog, and then lay down his life for you in the finals. So shall begin your glorious reign."

Tips and tricks[]
- Use the lower lift to lift jump to the upper level for fast access to the UDamage.
- Use Nimble to reach the UDamage, if you're in the area beneath the balcony.
Trivia[]
- "Temple Udjat" is the song of the map in regular play. During the Ascension Rites semifinals, it plays "Nu Battle".
- This is one of the maps that come with the UC2 Demo, the others being DM-Deadbolt, DM-Remnant, CTF-Emperor and CTF-ViperPit.
