The Unified Military Services is a galactic-scale military force, featured as one of the antagonists in Unreal Mission Pack: Return to Na Pali.

Involvement in the games[]
The UMS were the owners of the UMS Vortex Rikers, the prison ship which held Prisoner 849 in Unreal. At the beginning of Unreal Mission Pack: Return to Na Pali their UMS Bodega Bay spaceship intercept the fuel-less shuttle holding the Prisoner 849 and send her into a mission in order to recover information stolen aboard the UMS Prometheus. Once the mission is done, they send a squad of marines in order to shut down Prisoner 849 permanently, as the mission was classified as confidential. Not only they fail such a mission, but at the end of the game, the Bodega Bay is shut down for good after a small fight with 849.
